Kosher Business Software is a software platform used by independent, appointment-based local businesses ("Businesses") to manage scheduling, sales, and client communication. One feature lets a Business send its own clients appointment reminders and related service messages by text. Each Business texts from its own dedicated phone number, and Kosher Business Software does not send texts to anyone on its own behalf.

What the Texts Are

If you book with a Business that uses the platform and you agree to receive texts, you will receive appointment reminders and related service messages (such as scheduling or preparation instructions) from that Business at the phone number you provided. The first message after you opt in confirms your enrollment. This program does not include marketing or promotional texts.

How You Opt In

A Business collects your consent verbally at booking. When you book in person or by phone, staff ask using a script like:

"Can we text you appointment reminders from {Business Name}? You can reply STOP anytime."

Your consent is recorded at that time, with a timestamp.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can book and attend appointments whether or not you agree to receive texts.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting Out and Getting Help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. You can also ask the Business to opt you out. Opting out does not affect your appointments.

Your Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.
